There's a lot of talent, experience and history in this newer Hamilton outfit, but even given that pedigree, their debut 12" was a very pleasant surprise indeed. With Ugly Pop revived, they were an obvious choice to get waxed again ASAP, and here's the fruit of that call. Four tracks of concise, furious punk rock; the Ramones inspiration is obvious, but you'll also hear traces of deadpan Spits barrage, snotty early Weasel tuneage, and blazing hard rock leads. This is surefire hit stuff, executed fast and tight with hooks that hang in the air even after the needle lifts. Limited to 300 on black vinyl.
