CHILD OF PANOPTES - New Romance 7"
Child of Panoptes is a group of musicians from the south of France,
gathered around a solid core formed by Alexandre Besson and Eric
Pouchet, both also known for their contributions to other bands.
Their musical style is highly eclectic and evolves with different
periods and line-ups, ranging from psychedelia to garage rock, with
touches of groove throughout.
Since their formation in 2021, the band has released three singles and
one LP. Their latest single marks their second release on Rogue Records.
“New Romance” on the A-side is a freakbeat, mod-baroque tune, while “Out
of My Mind” on the flip side delivers a moody garage-punk vibe.
