Originally operating between 1987 and 1991, hessian sack clad, hairy, violent Rhythm & Blues pre humans The Beatpack disbanded at the height of their game following their limited but potent output of just one EP and one LP for Screaming Apple Records. Twenty years on and these screeching blues wailing garage punks have reunited, featuring original members Simon Harvey (guitar), William Bourton Esq. (bass) and Hugh Dellar (vocals and harmonica) as well as new members Adrian Smith (rhythm) and Ian O'Sullivan (drums) with more of their signature high-octane, hysterical R&B.
The Beatpack initially peddled their primal wares from 1987 to 1991, terrorising audiences with their distinctive brand of violent Rhythm & Blues, their intense hessian-sack-clad live shows and their acres of hair. Recording an EP, a 45 and an LP for Screaming Apple Records, the group burned out in a blaze of glory and its members scattered to the four winds.
Limited to 500 copies on heavyweight vinyl, packaged in a front-laminated flipback-style sleeve.
